Everything you need to know about the Puzzle Workshop experience!

Here's what we'll be doing to ensure the safest possible experience for all our players:

  • We’ve added more time between all of our games to leave time for additional cleaning measures. We will disinfect between each and every game.

  • All of our experiences have been and will continue to be private, so you will only be a room with your friends and family. Your game master will communicate with you through a screen in the room.

  • We ask that you wait outside or in your car prior to your game. Our game master will call or text you when it's time to enter the building to start your game. Our waivers are available online so you will not need to touch any screens or make contact with our team members during check-in.

  • Our team will be distancing themselves from our guests by at least 6 feet at all times as well as wearing face coverings.

What is an escape room?

An escape room presents a unique challenge: escape from the room within 60 minutes.

To succeed, you will need to use your intelligence, imagination, and creativity. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an escape room expert, we know you'll have fun!
 

How many people can participate in this escape room adventure? I want to play with my friends or co-workers!

CSI: Hollywood and Trapped in Time are designed for 3-7 players and Groups of 2 can book at the price of 3 people.

Secrets of the Illuminati is designed for 3-7 players. Groups of 2 can book at the price of 3 people. 

Mission to the Stars is designed for 3-5 players. Groups of 2 can book at the price of 3 people. 

Trail of the Hope Diamond is designed for 25-200 players and can be hosted at a location of your choice. Please complete a team building form on our "Team Building" page for more information about hosting your team.

Do you offer anything for younger/newer players?

We do offer a modified version of “Trapped in Time” that is suited for younger or newer players (very first escape room experience!). Email us at least 24 hours before your booking (info@puzzleworkshop.com) to request the modified version of “Trapped in Time!”

 

Are there any age restrictions?

Our rooms are recommended for ages 8 and up with the exception of "Mission to the Stars” which is recommended for ages 13+. Parties where members are 16 years or younger must be accompanied by a paying adult over 18. Minors will need to have an adult complete a waiver on their behalf.
 

Will I be paired with strangers?

Unlike many escape rooms, our games are private, meaning we don't pair you with strangers. 

 

Can I set up an event for my company or team?

We love team building events! Please complete a team building form, and we will contact you.

 

How do I book a game?

Can I add more people to my party?

If you need to add extra players, you can bring them and pay when you arrive (up to a maximum of seven players, five players for Mission to the Stars). 

 

I booked my ticket! When should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your booking time! If you are late for the session as a team, you will be entitled to the remaining time of the session, without any extension. All participants will enter at the same time. Late participants will not be allowed to enter the game if the rest of the group has already started.

 

What if my party is late?

Due to our appointment timings and to be courteous to other guests, late arrivals are subject to time deduction off of the standard game time, without extension. All participants will enter at the same time. Late participants will not be allowed to enter the game if the rest of the group has already started.

 

When are you open?

We are open Wednesday through Sunday! You can check whether a specific time slot is available by visiting the booking page.

 

What if I want to book outside your normal hours?

If you want to book a slot outside of these hours, we are happy to accommodate subject to availability and a fee per player. Please complete a team building form with your requested day and time, and we will contact you.

 

Are tickets refundable or transferable?

All sales are final, which means no refunds. You may transfer or reschedule your booking with sufficient notice. Rescheduling can be processed up to 48 hours before your booking; there is a $30 rescheduling fee.

If you or anyone on your team is not feeling well or sick, we will reschedule your booking, free of charge. Please email info@puzzleworkshop.com for assistance.

 

What if I'm a no show?

If you are a no-show (you do not arrive at your booking; no notification to us), the price you paid for your ticket (and your party's ticket) will be forfeited and is non-refundable.

 

Are there any religious elements in the rooms?

There are no overtly religious elements. However, in the Secrets of the Illuminati room, you may see spiritual symbols such as palmistry, pentagons, and zodiac symbols.

 

Is the game frightening or scary?

There are no scary elements in our game. At Puzzle Workshop the door you enter from is not locked. In the event of an emergency or if you just get uncomfortable. you can step out at any time.

 

Do you allow alcohol?

No, we do not allow alcohol or drugs on the premises. You cannot be under the influence of alcohol or drugs while playing our rooms.

 

Is your venue handicap accessible?

Unfortunately, our office is not handicap accessible. We are located on the second floor, and there are no elevators in our building. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please plan accordingly.
